Compac collaborates with the Ronald Mcdonald Foundation

In collaboration with their American partner, Pacific Shores Stones, COMPAC’s contribution consisted of a donation of Moka-color quartz slabs that have been used in renovating the kitchen areas and in five new rooms of the Charleston Ronald McDonald House. These new spaces and improved kitchen will make families whose children are receiving medical treatment have a nicer stay.

COMPAC has implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility Program that includes several volunteer actions contributing to the development and improvement of living standards in the communities in which it works. One of the mainstays of COMPAC’s corporate philosophy is also respect for the environment, as exemplified by the reforestation of over 30,000 native trees in Abrantes, Portugal, near its Portuguese production plant.

The search for more sustainable materials, the use of clean power, and the reduction of its carbon footprint are all priorities for COMPAC, which are rounded out by a series of training agreements and extensive social work through collaborations with associations and non-governmental organizations that principally focus on supporting children and social reintegration.
